Financial Coaching

Your path to financial freedom

Are you tired of feeling out of control when it comes to your finances? Do you get to the end of the month and have no idea where your paycheck went?

Are you drowning in a pile of debt and aren’t sure if you’ll ever get out of it? Do you spend impulsively? Are you recently divorced and have never managed the household finances? Maybe you just want some help with saving for a large purchase?

If any of these questions resonate with you, Financial Coaching may be for you. Different than a Financial Advisor, a Financial Coach is there to teach, analyze, encourage, motivate, and provide accountability. A Financial Coach is like any other coach – in sports, nutrition, business, or life in general – that asks questions, helps you determine your goals, helps you identify the roadblocks that are preventing you from achieving those goals, and works with you to create a plan to achieve those goals.

On the other hand, a Financial Coach will not tell you what TO do and will also not do the work for you. For the process to be successful, you need to be willing to put in the work it will take to make lasting behavioral changes when it comes to money.

Is This You?

Your Financal Coach Professional

I hold a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and obtained my MBA from University of South Florida. I also completed extensive training in financial coaching and have been an active CPA for over 20 years. Running Valley Financial Associates offers several services to meet your needs, including financial coaching, small business consulting, and tax preparation.

The Coaching Process

The process starts with a 30-minute complimentary virtual consultation to discuss your needs and goals and determine if the coaching relationship would be a good fit going forward. Over a series of coaching sessions that are completely customized to the client, we will work together to create an action plan to meet those goals, while breaking down old money habits and behaviors that hold you back, and creating new, healthy ones.

Your coach will serve as your biggest cheerleader and accountability partner, providing hope and positive support as you move through your journey to financial freedom.

Various coaching packages are available to meet your specific needs. Lasting behavioral change when it comes to money takes time, so it is recommended to work with a Financial Coach for a minimum of 3 to 6 months to achieve financial freedom.

Rumor has it...

I used Running Valley Financial for my personal and small business tax preparation and it was an amazing experience. Not only was it simple to upload my documents but also went over my deductions and caught a few I had been missing the past couple years resulting in a better return for me. She was professional and super knowledgeable. I'd recommend her and will be filing my taxes through Running Valley next year.

I didn't have a good experience with my previous CPA and had to switch. Carrie is a CPA that DOES worry about clients and works with them to make sure their questions get answered. She really took the time with me to go over everything. Her great customer service and professionalism really makes a difference when working with a CPA.

Last year my accountant made taxes complicated, and seemed too busy to truly help me even when I made  appointments. This year I'm so thankful to switch to Running Valley Financial because everything is simple and easy to understand!
